Mounting, Matting, and Framing

Learn some basic “rules of the road” for mounting, matting and framing your own artwork or images!   We’ll cover both visual and technical aspects of preparing and presenting work for hanging.  Practice using some very basic, inexpensive tools that you might even have at home,. and what else you may need to avoid the frame shop!

$35 includes course, materials, and beverage!

Watercolor Fish

Learn and play with watercolors as you practice observation and composition skills!  We’ll use freshwater fish as our subject matter to practice several techniques.  No experience necessary; all materials provided (including some to take home!)

Kitchen Collage

Try your hand at an art form that doesn’t  require drawing!  “Paint” with bits of color and value to create a kitchen-themed collage.  The technique we’ll use can be transferred to virtually any subject!
