Small, Sustainable, and Attainable: One Couple’s Journey
Our grandparents all left the farm and went to work in the city for ‘modern life’ -…and here we are turning back the other way! We’ll share our journey from living exclusively as ‘city kids’ to doing more things the way our grandparents did-with a few twists! From growing produce to fruit trees, beekeeping to pest control, composting toilets to woodchucks, forest management to solar power, the proprietors of Uncle Hermans’ Farm share their adventures along the way. Tips, tricks, trade-offs, and lessons learned, as well as a honey sample and some of our favorite garden seeds, are included! Share your ideas and experiences!
